Hi, I am Rocío

​From a young age, I became captivated by the world of cinema and photography, developing an unyielding passion for visual storytelling. Fueling my obsession, I captured moments from my daily life using a disposable camera and a Betacam, laying the foundation for my creative journey.

In 2013, I graduated from the EAF (Escuela Activa de Fotografía) in Mexico where I honed my skills and expanded my knowledge in photography. 

​

Driven by a desire to explore the art of filmmaking, I furthered my education and completed my studies at the AMCI (Asociación Mexicana de Cineastas Independientes) in late 2018. This formal training provided me with the tools and techniques to bring my vision to life on the screen.

​

Throughout my career, I have photographed various short films, immersing myself in their narratives. From capturing raw emotions on digital frames to the timeless beauty of 35mm film, each project has been an opportunity to tell stories through my lens
